ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Conference Education Steering Committee has completed its fourth committee meeting and established the following vision for creating conference education and what they want attendees to experience and come away with:

An invitation to evolution, awakening, new perspectives, and world impact!

- To provoke coaches to think, to be uncomfortable and to stretch themselves;

- For coaches to walk away transformed in a way that changes how their presence with clients and in their lives;

- Engage coaches in new ways;

- Present a cohesive wholeness;

- The challenge: What if every coach cared and dared to have an impact in the world?

- The Committee is close to finalizing subcommittee appointments and look to start subcommittee meetings early-mid March. Staff is working with them on preparation of meeting materials.

- The Call for Breakout Presentations was announced on February 15 and seven proposals have been submitted to-date.

- Timeline: Keynote speakers should be announced in the very near future and workshop speakers by April. Web site is scheduled to open on May 1. Breakout speakers/sessions are scheduled to be announced at the end of May.

ACQUIRE ISO 17024 COMPLIANCE FOR THE CREDENTIALING PROGRAM

Over the past month, Task Force members have reviewed the draft survey and made nominations for pilot participants who will provide further review. The Task Force meeting to review possible revisions to the Role Study Survey will take place on March 3 and 4. Once this is completed, the survey will be sent to a pilot group to conduct further review. The survey is then to be sent to a broader selected sample on March 26. Staff is currently meeting all timelines for this phase of the test development process. An analysis of the survey data will take place June 4 and 5 in a face to face Task Force meeting. This meeting will include some members of the original Task Force as well as some new members. A location for this interaction and the selection of new members is pending.

MEMBERSHIPS

A total of 493 new members joined the ICF in February. Membership is now 14,434. The retention rate remains at 78.56%.

MARKETING

The Marketing Department has received 15 media requests since January 1, including February requests from the New York Times and BusinessWeek Online.
The organization has been mentioned in 67 clips in February with a total circulation of nearly 15 million. In 9 of those clips (13 percent), ICF Credentials were specifically referenced.
